Wireless Zero Configuration or WLAN is a wireless connection management application included in Windows XP and later operating systems as a service that dynamically chooses a wireless network to connect. Wireless Zero Configuration was first introduced with Windows XP. In Windows Vista, the service that provides the same functions is called "WLAN AutoConfig". It is based on the Native Wifi architecture introduced in Windows Vista.
