Is a future fix planned for this bug?
Many users of Firefox are not English and use profiles with accented letters.

I tested SF 1.4.1, the bug remains.

I thought it's worked under Vista but it didn't. So I think SF 1.4 is buggy with accented profiles under any Windows OS. You can try to create a new profile: firefox.exe -ProfileManager http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing+profiles Test conditions: Vista SP2 32 bits FF 3.6 test profile: \Moz...

Buggy with FF profiles with accented letters (fixed)

Hello Thanks for this useful tiny tool. :good: But SF 1.4 doesn't support Firefox profiles with accented letters under Win XP. Ex: %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ é6o1üpbâqb.default \ Anyway that seems to work with Vista and Seven. Maybe something is broken with UTF-8 and folder names... :unknow...
