Manage Startup Programs in Windows

Uninstall Tool can manage programs that automatically start on Windows startup. You can

  • Add a new startup program!
  • Enable/Disable/Force Remove any startup entry from the list
  • View detailed information of a certain entry (Installation Folder, Command Line, Current Status, Run Source and Validity)
  • Browse Source of an entry (using context menu or via clicking the Source link in the Explorer Bar)

    Viewing startup items can be very helpful for finding possible spyware/adware programs that is secretly installed on your computer.

    If your computer starts slowly - you can find and disable unwanted startup programs.

    Source column is responsible for displaying the way this start item starts:
    HKLM Run - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE registry key, all cumputer users
    HKLM RunOnce - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE registry key, all cumputer users. This item starts only once
    HKCU Run - HKEY_CURRENT_USER registry key
    HKCU RunOnce - HKEY_CURRENT_USER registry key. This item starts only once
    StartMenu All - All Users Start Menu, Startup folder (normally Start Menu\Programs\Startup)
    StartMenu CU - Current User Start Menu, Startup folder
