If you decided to uninstall Windows Vista ™ from you computer (when you have Windows XP also installed) this article may be more than useful. Actually the easiest (but not the best way!) is to format your drive C. For many reasons this variant may be unacceptable. Trying to remove Windows Vista ™ files from the other operating system (XP) caused the access denied error.
Here are manual, step-by-step instructions of how to remove Vista.
This solution work for everyone. To remove Vista
1) Under vista, Go to command prompt and navigate to your DVD Drive that has the Vista DVD on it, and then to the Boot folder on the DVD.
2) Type in
bootsect /nt52
3) Reboot (into XP), you can remove Vista partition now if it's not primary.
That's it.
